Celebrate Negroni Week at The Kennebunk Inn

You may have seen the article in The Portland Press Herald’s “The Wrap” column. Academe at The Kennebunk Inn is one of only two Maine restaurants observing Negroni Week in 2021.

If you’ve been craving a drink in 2021, we have a great excuse – and a good cause for you!  Negroni Week 2021 runs from September 13th to the 19th. We will be celebrating Negroni Week Thursday, September 16th, Friday, September 17th, and Saturday, September 18th, 2021. A portion of the proceeds from every Negroni we sell during the week will help to benefit Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.

If you would like an outstanding Negroni recipe, may we offer Chef Shanna O’Hea’s “Life-Saving Negroni” recipe. You can make it at home, but we certainly hope you’ll stop by the Kennebunk Inn during Negroni Week. Your drink purchase will help to benefit a local Maine charity. If you’re not a fan of gin, we off “My Old Pal,” made with Basil Hayden Rye Whiskey.

About The Kennebunk Inn

The Chefs/Owners of The Kennebunk Inn and its restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern met when they were students at The Culinary Institute of America. They have appeared on "Best Thing I Ever Ate," "Chopped," "Rewrapped," and "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network and on the Travel Channel's "Food Paradise." They have also appeared in Oprah Winfrey's "O" The Magazine. The O'Heas have been guest chefs at Walt Disney World's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Houston's "Sugar Land Food & Wine Affair, Boca Raton's "Boca Bacchanal" Food & Wine Festival, and on Holland America Cruise Line.
