Maine Restaurant Week Logo - 2015 VersionIt’s time for Maine’s annual Restaurant Week celebration, which gets into full swing on March 1st, 2015. This has been another really long winter. If you’re like us, you have found yourself thinking things like, “Well, at least it’s not a plowable snow.”  When that particular mindset takes hold, you know that it’s time to get out of the house and do something. (Besides shovel.)

We have a wonderful idea for you. Put on your finest flannel and your nicest fleece and head out to one of the more than 80 Maine restaurants that are participating in this year’s Maine Restaurant Week. We have a list of participating Maine Restaurant Week establishments here.  Of course, we would prefer to have you be our guest for the event.  Academe at The Kennebunk Inn’s chefs/owners Shanna & Brian O’Hea have designed two specially priced 3 course menus for your dining pleasure. We’re offering a three course lunch menu for $15.00, and a three course dinner menu for only $35.00.

The Kennebunk Inn’s restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern, is open from 11:30 AM until 9:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner service begins at 4:30 PM.  The Kennebunk Inn is located on Main Street at the center of downtown Kennebunk, Maine.

About The Kennebunk Inn

The Chefs/Owners of The Kennebunk Inn and its restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern met when they were students at The Culinary Institute of America. They have appeared on "Best Thing I Ever Ate," "Chopped," "Rewrapped," and "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network and on the Travel Channel's "Food Paradise." They have also appeared in Oprah Winfrey's "O" The Magazine. The O'Heas have been guest chefs at Walt Disney World's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Houston's "Sugar Land Food & Wine Affair, Boca Raton's "Boca Bacchanal" Food & Wine Festival, and on Holland America Cruise Line.
