Cooking Class: Lunch at a Maine Brasserie – Friday, August 30, 2019

Stonewall Cooking Class - Lunch at a Maine BrasserieChefs Shanna & Brian O’Hea, the Chef/Owners of Academe and The Kennebunk Inn, will be teaching a culinary class at Stonewall Kitchens in York, Maine on Friday, August 30th, 2019.  The class will be held from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.  The class menu will consist of:

  • French Onion Bisque – classic French onion soup puréed smooth, finished with sherry and cream and served with a petite Gruyere cheese sandwich
  • Pork Schnitzel – a pork cutlet pounded out thin, breaded and pan-fried and served with poppy seed spaetzle, baby carrots and Dijon mustard dill cream sauce
  • Baked Apple in a Shortbread Crust with Caramel Apricot Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream

The cost of the class is $50.00 and you can register here at the Stonewall Kitchens website. As an added bonus, attendees will receive a 10% discount off all products at the Stonewall Kitchens Cooking School on the day of the class.

About The Kennebunk Inn

The Chefs/Owners of The Kennebunk Inn and its restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern met when they were students at The Culinary Institute of America. They have appeared on "Best Thing I Ever Ate," "Chopped," "Rewrapped," and "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network and on the Travel Channel's "Food Paradise." They have also appeared in Oprah Winfrey's "O" The Magazine.
