2018 marks Brian & Shanna O’Hea’s 12th appearance at the Houston area’s most prestigious celebration of food & wine. The Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair was founded in 2003 by the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce. The festival’s goal is to create a cultural food and beverage experience while showcasing the growing City of Sugar Land. Since inception, the annual spring event has been produced by the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and has benefited a permanent scholarship endowment at the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Chefs Shanna & Brian will be participating in the Grand Tasting on  Friday, April 6th, and the Sip & Stroll on Saturday, April 7th, 2018.   he O’Heas, chefs/owners of Academe and The Kennebunk Inn will be bringing a taste of Maine to Texas – including, of course, Maine Lobster!

The Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair’s popular Sip & Stroll is back again with an expanded schedule and a deliciously curated experience. Visit our Fred Parks Wine Tent to engage in a variety of wine education classes lead by a select group of sommeliers and beverage industry experts. All classes are included in the ticket price, so feel free to pop in throughout the day. Enjoy fantastic bites from over 25 of the area’s best restaurants, carefully crafted cocktails and an expansive selection of wines. New to this year’s Sip & Stroll is our marketplace showcasing nearly a dozen local artisans. Cheers to that!

  • Friday, April 6, 2018: Normal operating hours, limited dinner menu.
  • Saturday, April 7, 2018: Normal operating hours, limited dinner menu.
  • Sunday, April 8 & Monday, April 9, 2018 – Closed as normal
  • Tuesday, April 10, 2018 – Closed
  • Wednesday, April, 11, 2018 – Normal operating hours. Full menu resumes.
About The Kennebunk Inn

The Chefs/Owners of The Kennebunk Inn and its restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern met when they were students at The Culinary Institute of America. They have appeared on "Best Thing I Ever Ate," "Chopped," "Rewrapped," and "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network and on the Travel Channel's "Food Paradise." They have also appeared in Oprah Winfrey's "O" The Magazine. The O'Heas have been guest chefs at Walt Disney World's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Houston's "Sugar Land Food & Wine Affair, Boca Raton's "Boca Bacchanal" Food & Wine Festival, and on Holland America Cruise Line.
