York County Coast Star – “Ambassador Chefs Return with Inspiration”

Kristin Furhmann-Simmons of the York County Coast StarKristin Fuhrmann-Simmons of the York County Coast Star chronicles Brian & Shanna O’Hea’s second invitation to be guest chefs at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Food & Wine Festival. She also outlines the O’Hea’s appearances at other food & wine events throughout the country and on the high seas.

The O’Heas are a cornerstone in the lauded food’ scene of southern Maine. Their comfort food with a twist has continued to attract seacoast diners, as well as guests from away, due in part to their participation in countrywide food events. This is the second year that the O’Heas have been asked to showCase their food at Disney World’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival. The festival runs for six weeks and brings in world-wide talent.

About The Kennebunk Inn

The Chefs/Owners of The Kennebunk Inn and its restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern met when they were students at The Culinary Institute of America. They have appeared on "Best Thing I Ever Ate," "Chopped," "Rewrapped," and "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network and on the Travel Channel's "Food Paradise." They have also appeared in Oprah Winfrey's "O" The Magazine.
