Visiting Chef Series: Pennsylvania College of Technology – Penn State

Academe at the Kennebunk Inn Chefs / Owners, Brian and Shanna O’Hea served as Guest Chefs at a Scholarship Benefit Dinner at the Pennsylvania College of Technology’s School of Business and Technology this past weekend. The three day Visiting Chef Series event saw the O’Heas working side by side and providing instruction and expertise for students in the college’s culinary arts and hospitality program.

The Visiting Chef Series at the Pennsylvania College of Technology is one of the most prestigious fine dining events in Pennsylvania.  The Visiting Chef Series began in 1992 and attracts world-renowned chefs to the kitchens of the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA. As the Series enters its twenty-second year, Chefs Brian & Shanna O’Hea of Academe: Maine Brasserie & Tavern and The Kennebunk Inn are pleased to be invited as the Spring 2014 Visiting Chefs.  The elegant, five course dinner provides valuable experience for the college’s students and raises funds for student scholarships.

This special event will be held in the beautiful Le Jeune Chef Restaurant on the school’s campus. The O’Heas prepared a special five course tasting menu for the event. Specially selected wines accompanied the meal.
