Chefs Brian & Shanna O’Hea will be representing Share Our Strength’s “Cooking Matters” program at the 2013 “Taste of the Nation®” fundraising event. Maine’s “Taste of the Nation®” will be held at Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport, Maine on Sunday, June 23rd, 2013. “Taste of the Nation®” is North America’s premier culinary benefit with nearly 40 events held across the United States and Canada. Chefs, restauranteurs, and mixologists donate their time and talent to raise crucial funds for Share Our Strength’s “No Kid Hungry®” campaign to end childhood hunger. Since 1988, “Taste of the Nation®” has raised more than $68 million for Share Our Strength.

“Taste of the Nation – Maine” will feature food from more than 30 of Maine’s top chefs along with premium wines, spirits and craft beers. Tickets for the Event are $125.00 and the event runs from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM. VIP Tickets which include both “Taste of the Nation – Maine” and a special Maine Wine & Spirits pre-event reception are $200.00. You can purchase tickets online from the Share Our Strength website.
