Mid to late June marks Strawberry Season here in Maine.  Chef Shanna O’Hea of Academe at The Kennebunk Inn likes to take advantage of the fresh, sweet taste of ripe locally grown strawberries in her desserts. A favorite is Strawberry & Rhubarb Shortcake with Fresh Whipped Cream. This wonderful dessert special is a great way to help your taste buds kick off the summer season.
