Excitement is building at The Kennebunk Inn as the long winter months recede and spring blooms. With the new season, physical and format changes are in store for Inn patrons as well.

Chef~Owners, Brian and Shanna O'Hea, are initiating a major change in The Inn's restaurant format. Beginning in May, a single menu will be available to all dining patrons, combining items from both the former Tavern and Academe menus as well as introducing some new features. Academe ... a Maine Brasserie and Tavern will be the presentation for this new format, which will permit guests to select any seat in the restaurant rather than having to choose between "formal" or "informal" dining. Academe's full menu will be available Tuesday through Saturday for dinner with a limited selection menu on Sunday and Monday. The weekday lunch menu will continue as previously offered.

Adams Room guests will appreciate not only the new but larger mattresses added this spring. All of the previous fullsize beds have been replaced with queensize beds.

In addition to our "Social Service" discounts introduced last year, we have added AAA and AARP discounts for 2006. All three discounts will be 10% off listed prices, except in the peak periods of July, August and December Prelude, when the discount will be 5%.
