Our Chefs and Bartenders Will Be Competing in Maine Restaurant Week’s “Signature Event”

Maine Restaurant Week Signature Event 2013

The Signature Event features nearly two dozen master bartenders and pastry chefs from restaurants around the great state of Maine and benefits the United Way of Greater Portland.  Guests can sample and on the competing cocktails and desserts and vote for their favorites.  Our own Adrian Trudeau won the bartenders’ trophy in 2011 and is hoping for another victory this year.

As restaurant week winds down, there is still time to take advantage of Academe’s special Maine Restaurant Week lunch and dinner menus.  Our talented chefs have prepared two special, fixed price menus for Maine Restaurant Week 2013.  The restaurant is offering a three course dinner menu for $32.00,  Also, Academe at The kennebunk Inn is the only restaurant in the Kennebunkport, Kennebunk and Wells area to offer a Maine restaurant Week lunch special.  Our three course lunch is only $15.00,  These special menus are only in effect through Saturday, March 9th — so hurry in!
