Academe’s “Lobster Lo’Maine” was number three on the Bangor Daily News’ list of the eight most unique lobster dishes in Maine. Lobster Lo’Maine was Chef Shanna O’Hea’s dish in the 2013 Maine Lobster Chef of the Year competition. Lobster Lo’Maine is available nightly on Academe’s dinner menu and has quickly garnered a loyal local following.
Lo mein never had it this good. Lobster meat, marinated pork bellies, scallions, cilantro and sesame seeds mingle with ginger vinegar and a white miso dressing on a bed of noodles for an upscale Maine version of the Asian classic.
