Kennebunk: One of the Best Places to Live in Maine 2015

Downeast Magazine - Best Places to Live in Maine 2015

Each year, DownEast magazine publishes its annual list of “Best Places to Live in Maine.”  For 2015, DownEast chose eight Maine towns for this honor, including our very own Kennebunk, ME.  The magazine’s “Road Trip” team visited each of the towns so named and filmed a short (2 minute, 50 second) video.  Our very own Shanna O’Hea was the narrator for the Kennebunk portion of the video.

The 8 lucky Maine towns named “Best Place to Live in Maine 2015” are:

  • Bangor
  • Camden
  • Hallowell
  • Kennebunk
  • Norway
  • Portland
  • South Bristol
  • Yarmouth

If you’d like to skip directly to the Kennebunk section of the video featuring Shanna O’Hea, you can use this link.

Kennebunk Ice Skating Rink – Waterhouse Center

When you watch the Kennebunk section of the Best Places in Maine video, you’ll see some footage of the Waterhouse Center Ice Skating Rink, located directly next to the Kennebunk Inn on Main Street. Should you be one of those folks who have never seen the Kennebunk town ice skating rink, you should know that there’s a webcam. It’s like being here – without all the shoveling.
