Vickie Monroe

Vicki Monroe has been speaking to loved ones on the other side for close to 2 decades. She is an author, spiritual teacher, and international speaker, as well as radio host, and has done several national television specials. Monroe has visited The Kennebunk Inn in past years, using her experience as a spirit messenger to reveal the source of the Inn’s haunted history and reach out to the spirits that are said to reside on the property.

One of those is Cyrus, a past clerk at The Inn who passed away in the mid-twentieth century, and whose spirit is said to remain on the property, his presence being made visible occasionally by flying or falling wine glasses and other objects. The spirit of Silas Perkins, a night watchman and published poet, continues to watch over the Inn to this day. Both ghosts have appeared to guests and owners during renovations and a change in ownership.

Monroe has identified a third spirit during past visits, Sara Emily, who typically inhabits the main stairwell and waves to guests as they enter the building. Most do not see her but she is quite playful and enjoys knocking on guest room doors.

Entrée selections include seafood bouillabaisse, Swedish meatballs, and chicken marsala with chef/owner Shanna O’Hea’s “Dueling Spirits” desserts – angel food cake with pumpkin mousse and devil’s food cake with old fashioned fudge frosting.

For those looking to extend their paranormal visit after the dinner, The Inn’s Room 17 is said to have the most paranormal activity. A 30% discount is offered to guests who purchase tickets to the Spirit Dinner and book an overnight stay in any of the Inn’s rooms.

Please note, this special evening is by reservation only; space is limited. Advanced payment for the dinner plus 20% gratuity is required. The dinner does not include tax or beverages.
