Charleston Wine + Food Festival 2017Brian & Shanna O’Hea, chefs and owners of Academe and The Kennebunk Inn will be guest chefs at the 2017 Charleston Wine + Food Festival, March 2017.  Charleston Wine + Food is a cultural entity that champions the region’s unique foodways through world-renowned culinary experiences year-round, with its main event being a five-day festival that spans the first full weekend each March. Fueled by a contagious passion for the people and places that make Charleston worth celebrating, the annual festival infuses homegrown flavor with top chefs, winemakers, authors, storytellers, artisans, and food enthusiasts from around the globe. Charleston Wine + Food is a non-profit organization that supports Charleston and the Lowcountry’s diverse culinary + hospitality community through financial contributions to organizations or persons that directly benefit our local foodways initiatives and strengthen our local community.

Shanna & Brian will be participating in two events: What The Pho? on Saturday, March 4th and The Culinary Village on Sunday, March 5th.

About The Kennebunk Inn

The Chefs/Owners of The Kennebunk Inn and its restaurant, Academe Maine Brasserie & Tavern met when they were students at The Culinary Institute of America. They have appeared on “Best Thing I Ever Ate,” “Chopped,” “Rewrapped,” and “Beat Bobby Flay” on the Food Network and on the Travel Channel’s “Food Paradise.” They have also appeared in Oprah Winfrey’s “O” The Magazine. The O’Heas have been guest chefs at Walt Disney World’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Houston’s “Sugar Land Food & Wine Affair, Boca Raton’s “Boca Bacchanal” Food & Wine Festival, and on Holland America Cruise Line.
