The family road trip is the quintessential American summer experience. Mom, Dad, the kids and the family dog setting out for adventure along the highways and back roads of this great nation.  The Food Network “On The Road” has put together a list of “must-see” and “must taste” destinations all over the USA. Our restaurant, Academe, is one of the stops on the Food Network On The Road’s “New England Lobster Tour.”

Cat Cora may be an expert at making chicken pot pie. But when in Maine, she races to Academe for their pot pie using lobster. Here, everything is handmade with a little Maine in every bite. Try the Atlantic Salmon Panini or Citrus Crab Ravioli. Dessert does a flip with Reverse Root Beer Floats
