Ever since Chef Shanna O’Hea won on the Food Network’s “Rewrapped,” we’ve had quite a few requests for a taste of her Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli Spice Cake from the show’s Innovate Round. If you’ve ever wondered what a dessert made from canned pasta tastes like – and let’s face it, who hasn’t? – You can find out on Friday, October 17th, Saturday, October 18th, or Tuesday, October 21st, 2014.
Any guest who brings in a can of food, or who makes a cash donation to Maine’s Good Shepherd Food Bank will receive a sample of Shanna’s winning Spice Cake with Cashew Ginger Crumble and Raspberry Tomato Meat Sauce Coulis topped with Rum Cream. This is a wonderful chance to help a great local cause and to taste a dessert that – and we’re going out on a limb here – is unlike anything you’ve ever had.

(The Champagne was not part of the prize package, but it makes for a nice photo, and a refreshing beverage.)
