Chef Shanna O’Hea Takes 1st Place in Birthday Cake Contest for President George H. W. Bush’s 90th Birthday

Shanna O’Hea chef/owner of the Kennebunk Inn took first place in the Kennebunkport Historical Society’s “90 Cakes for 90 Years” contest and celebration on Thursday, June 12, 2014.  The Kennebunkport Historical Society held a birthday celebration at the historic First Families museum in Kennebunkport, Maine to honor former President and longtime summer resident George H. W. Bush. Shanna, who along with her husband Brian, are the chefs and owners of The Kennebunk Inn and it’s restaurant Academe in downtown Kennebunk.

The town-wide celebration of “41’s” birthday included a birthday sing-along, cake, and ice cream.
